Piazza Castello can be considered the main square of the City of Turin and the heart of the historical center of the city. It joins four main roads, that is, the pedestrian via Garibaldi, via Po, via Roma and via Pietro Micca
Piazza Solferino is one of the biggest square of the historical center of the savoy city and owes its name to the municipality of Solferino in Mantova, where an important battle took place on the 24 of June 1859, which saw the victory of the franco-piemontese troops against the austrians during the Second Italian war of indipendence.
Cortile del Maglio is part of a large architectural complex of Borgo Dora which constituted the Military Arsenal. Currently it is the headquarters of the Cortile del Maglio association which is dedicated to the promotion and redevelopment of the Borgo Dora district through the organization and management of social and cultural events and initiatives.
Santa Rita is a district of the southwest area of Turin. Together with Mirafiori Nord, it constitutes the District 2 of the city which, from 2016, has also merged the Mirafiori Sud district (ex Circoscrizione 10). The district owes its name from the church-sanctuary dedicated to Santa Rita da Cascia, built in medieval neo-Romanesque style in the first half of the twentieth century.
